An experienced professional with a diverse skillset…

Juan Ulloa is a strategic communications and public relations professional with 30 years of experience. He has represented a broad array of companies in a variety of industries, from local non-profits to Fortune 100 companies with global footprint.

Juan’s personal and professional life has been guided by a sense of social responsibility. Active in politics, disability rights and education circles. He sits on the DC Pedestrian Advisory Council, the board of the DC Latino Caucus, and is Chair of the Ward 2 Democrats.

His experience as a public school parent led Juan to serve as the founding vice president of the Ward 2 Education Council (W2EC). For more than a decade, he has been in leadership positions on the parent teacher associations and local school advisory teams at his child’s public schools. This has led him to testify before the Council of the District of Columbia on issues such as school feeder patterns; teacher pay and school budget equity; and school reopening procedures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Juan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communications from Penn State University. A native New Yorker, Juan and his family moved to the District of Columbia in 2007.
